Podcasts for Holistic Wellness – My Top 5 Picks

Headphones and iPhone listening to best podcasts for holistic health

How bloody good are podcasts?! Up until about 18 months ago I had never really listened to one. Now, I’m a borderline addict.

There’s so much great information out there in the world of podcasts. If you’re the kind of person who likes to dive deep into conversations, rather than just scratch the surface of a topic, listening to podcasts is a really great way to consume content.

In our busy day-to-day lives, we don’t always feel like we have the time to sit down and read long, in depth blog posts or articles. But you can definitely multitask while consuming content in podcast form.

I love listening to the ramblings my fave podcasters on my drive to work, while I tackle household chores and even while I’m working out.

As my blog focuses on all things holistic health, I thought it’d be cool to share a round up of some of the best, most informative podcasts in the wellness space.

1. Nutrition Matters Podcast

The Nutrition Matters Podcast is hosted by Paige Smathers, who is a registered dietitian nutritionist. Paige usually has guest experts on the show, but also does the occasional solo show. The episodes typically run between 45 minutes to an hour and a half, so if you’re into longform podcasts you’ll love this one.

Most of the episodes have a focus on nutrition and food mindset. Paige and her guests seem to really advocate for healthy relationships with our body and food. Paige facilitates these in depth conversation in a wonderfully compassionate way, and always seems to be thinking of how her listeners will relate to the content.
